Outside Salesperson – South Boston

Columbia Electric is seeking an experienced, senior salesperson responsible for the effective development and management of assigned customers and new accounts within the metro Boston territory. Duties may include preparing sales forecasts and gross margin goals for each assigned customers and prospects; finding, qualifying, determining buying influences, and selling to new accounts. Qualified candidates must have the ability to make sales calls and implement sales development plans for each assigned customer and prospect. Seeking candidates with a can do approach to aggressively follow-up with customers for new and/or existing quotations as well as for all specials and promotions.

Excellent electrical distribution and product knowledge experience with a proven track record as a salesperson is required. Additionally, computer expertise and technical knowledge is also preferred.

We are seeking a qualified candidate to be responsible for specific assigned customers within the branch territory to achieve successful results. Duties will include but not limited to preparing sales forecast and gross margin goals for each assigned customer; keeping customer profiles continuously up-to-date as well as answering telephone calls in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience with electrical supply products knowledge and will need to be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work well with all levels of employees within the organization.
